AD DESIGN

I went to Taiwan some days for learning the advertisement design with many other students from different cities of China. And in that study time, our group did an introduction of a product of Watsons. Besides this, we made a small movie for this product and all things of this small movie were made by self. As a result, we got the second place in eight groups. I think it is a very memorable experience for me.

I went to the Georgia, Tbilisi for teaching Chinese almost two weeks and I met many friends not only our groups’ but also our “students”. Some of them signed up a WeChat account for us and some of them added our Facebook. We taught them Chinese in English which is not the first language of both of us and after that, I think my English was improved a little bit and I was more outgoing when I am speaking in front of people. Also, I have a programmer called Changing Face which is a traditional show of my hometown for their Spring Festival that I was very flattered when I got that invite.

COURSE WORK ---- COMM - 1100 (Public Speaking)

In the last semester of EAP in Auburn Global, I learned a course called COMM (communication), in this class, we have five speeches: Ungraded speech, Introductory speech, Informative speech, Persuasive speech Recommendation speech and one group assignment. I learned a lot of skills about five kinds of speeches. Like in the speech, we should not say “Hello” and “Thank you”, The PPT of speech need to have empty pages when we do not use it and some specific structure for each speech. I think it will be very useful for me in the Auburn University life and work life in the future.

Also, in the last semester of EAP in Auburn Global. We have the economic class that we also learned a lot of knowledge about economic. We learned the Supple, Demand, Elasticity, Consumers, Producers, the Efficiency of Markets, Tax, Competitive Markets, Monopoly and many other knowledges about economic. I think I know many things about economic during this class. Of course, as an international student, sometimes, I will be felt very difficult to understand and confuse in English, But I after I learn more and review it, I think it is very logical for understanding and very useful for us whatever our majors.
